The Main Display tab controls the radio's frequency, VFO, and operating modes.
Frequency Controls
- Frequency (Hz): Enter a frequency (e.g., 144.000.000).
- +/- Buttons: Adjust frequency by the step value.
- Set Frequency: Apply the entered frequency.
- Band: Select the band (2 m, 70 cm, 23 cm).
- Step (Hz): Choose the step size (e.g., 100 Hz).
VFO and Satellite Mode
- VFO A/B: Switch between VFO A and B.
- Sat Mode (MAIN/SUB): Enable satellite mode and select main or sub-band.
Other Settings
In order to use audio via the USB connection, the modulation should be set to USB or MIC_USB
- Split Mode: Set split mode (OFF, ON, DUP -, DUP +).
- RIT: Enable and adjust Receiver Incremental Tuning. NB: The
rit_maxconfig setting controls the width of this slider - Op Mode: Select operating mode (LSB, USB, FM, AM etc).
- Data Mode: Toggle data mode.
- Tone: Set tone (OFF, DTCS, TSQL etc).
- Tone Freq: Select tone frequency.
- Mod: Choose modulation (MIC, USB, FM etc).
- USB Squelch: Enable/disable USB squelch.
